Funky Wild Bird Feeders!
Ever had a bird feeder with a name? Meet Hot Lips Hilda! This weather-proof stoneware birdfeeder is totally for the birds! Her beehive hairdo and cat eye glasses are reminiscent of the 1950’s diner waitress. A rubber stopper on th bottom provides for filling and cleaning, and she holds about 2 lbs. of seed. We’ve fornd that sunflower seed works best, and especially like the “hearts and chips” as it leaves no mess below bird feeders.
Hand made in the USA, the Hot Lips Hildas are vibrant, fabulous wild bird feeders that make great gifts for the naure lover on your list, or that one person who “has everything”

Very Wild Bird Feeders Indeed!
Wild, whimsical, funky, crazy, call them what you may, but they are all totally functional! Wild bird feeders that are handmade pottery are an excellent choice as they will withstand freezing winter temperatures and the killer heat of summer. Since they are stoneware with special glazes, fading is not an issue, and squirrels can’t gnaw on them either!
Be it a Hot Lips Hilda, Laughing Green Man, or Cool Kat, they are terrific variations of the traditional tube bird feeder. Rubber stoppers on the bottom provide for filling and cleaning (dishwasher- safe too). They work best with sunflower seed, but if you’re like me and don’t want the mess below bird feeders, sunflower hearts and chips are preferred.

One Funky Wild Bird Feeder
Meet Hot Lips Hilda, she is modeled after the iconic 1950’s diner waitress, with her beehive hairdo and cat eye glasses. She’s one of the funkiest wild bird feeders I’ve ever seen…just look at that face! Hand crafted in Maine of stoneware pottery, she withstands the elements perfectly. It’s really a trip to watch birds perched on her tongue eating, like it’s the most natural thing in the world.
Hilda works best with sunflower seed, and the design keeps seed sheltered from rain. She holds about 2 lbs. of seed, and her color will never fade. Wild bird feeders make excellent, and lasting gifts too for any nature lover on your list. Mother’s Day is not far away…think wild bird feeders!
