Time for a Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder?
They can jump up to six feet high and straight across at least eight feet. Fast too, they can run up to 20 mph! When it comes to feeding birds, most will agree: Good Luck and God Bless!
Squirrels: They can just about ruin your bird watching experience as you notice expensive birdseed disappearing rather quickly from bird feeders! Their athletic abilities are uncanny to any other little wild critter, and they can eat their weight in seed in one week. Frustrating, exasperating, infuriating….until you break down and invest in a real squirrel proof bird feeder.
There are some excellent squirrel-proof feeders on the market today, many that will even look good in the yard. They no longer require the metal cage thing, many of them are aesthetically pleasing, something you’d like to have in the yard!
Save seed, and save money in the long run with a squirrel proof bird feeder that really works!

Squirrel Proof Bird Feeders for Suet that Really Work!
Feeding wild birds suet can become a real problem if squirrels are present in your yard….they can make suet magically disappear within a few hours!
The new Squirrel Proof Bird Feeders on the market today work really well at deterring squirrels from bird feeders, saving you seed and money! But if you feed suet, there aren’t too many choices available that squirrels can’t manage to steal from.
The Suet Palace is perfect for feeding suet to birds -not squirrels. The grid design will also deny starlings and larger “bully birds” access to the suet. The cover works as a weather guard, protecting suet and birds from the elements, keeping suet fresher, longer.

Add a Squirrel Baffle to Save Seed and Money!
If you’re tired of pesky squirrels raiding bird feeders, stealing seed, and making messes, it might be a good time to invest a few bucks in a squirrel baffle.
When used properly, baffles really work in deterring squirrels and keeping them out of feeders. They’re available in hanging styles, pole-mount, or even post-mounted styles too. So, no matter what type of feeder you may be using, there is a baffle to accommodate it.
The one thing to remember is feeder placement, as squirrels can jump like crazy! If your feeder is pole, or post mounted, the bottom of the baffle should be at least 4 feet from the ground. If you have a hanging bird feeder, squirrel’s horizontal jumping can thwart your efforts if the feeder is not placed at least 8 feet away from any possible “launch spot”.
This goes for pole mounted feeders too. Remember, squirrels can jump high and sideways! Place all feeders with baffles far enough away from any possible “launch site” and you’ll achieve success at deterring squirrels from feeders.
